Sam primarily represents sponsors of both closed-ended and open-ended alternative investment funds, with a particular focus on credit funds across the liquidity spectrum.

He advises on diverse fund issues such as structuring and terms, marketing regulations and documents, investor negotiations and service agreements, as well as upper-tier matters such as management entities and compensation arrangements. He also frequently advises on ‘retailisation’ of private assets, including through semi-liquid Luxembourg UCI Part II structures and ELTIF vehicles.
