Henry advises investment managers and investors in the private fund industry across a variety of asset classes including private equity, debt, infrastructure and real estate.

In addition to advice on the structuring, establishment and operation of investment funds, Henry also advises major institutional investors on their investment programmes including primary, co-investment, secondary and continuation fund investments. Henry also has experience advising a number of clients on origination and co-lending arrangements between institutional lenders and debt asset managers.

In 2014, Henry spent time on secondment with Vision Capital LLP and AlpInvest Partners B.V.

Advising Ancala Partners on its third flagship infrastructure fund which closed with total commitments of €1.4bn.

Synova Capital

Advising Synova on its fifth fund, Synova V, which closed at its hard cap of £875m (exceeding its target of £750m).

abrdn

Advising abrdn on the successful fundraising of its second European core infrastructure fund which closed at €669m. The main fund vehicle was launched alongside a dedicated co-investment top-up fund.

abrdn

Advising abrdn on a number of evergreen open ended credit funds structured as partnerships including abrdn’s Multi-Sector Private Credit Fund and Commercial Real Estate Debt Fund II.

August Equity

Advising UK-based private equity firm August Equity Partners on its flagship funds AEP IV and, most recently, AEP V which closed at its hard cap of £300m, together with related co-investment and continuation fund transactions.

Alcentra

Advising Alcentra on the fundraising of its first and second strategic credit funds which attracted aggregate total commitments of €1.25bn.

AlpInvest Partners

Advising AlpInvest Partners on its investment programme including primary, co-investment, secondary and continuation fund transactions. Including advising AlpInvest on its investment of new capital in a fund established by Investindustrial to acquire a portfolio of assets with a value of c. €700m from Investindustrial's Fund IV.

Beechbrook Capital

Advising Beechbrook Capital on the launch of its third private debt fund and first UK SME lending fund.

Leading UK bank

Advising a leading UK bank on an innovative structure and agreements with Hermes Investment Management, M&G Investments and AIG Asset Management to co-fund loans of up to £100m for medium-sized businesses.

Mobeus Equity Partners

Advising Mobeus Equity Partners on the launch of its first institutional fund, Mobeus Equity Partners IV, which closed at £166m exceeding its target of £150m.
